Audio is crucial for creating a convincing Virtual Reality (VR) experience. Because of the key role that audio cues play in our sense of being present in an actual, physical space, as it contributes to the user’s sense of immersion. This project focuses on the basics of 3D graphics rendering tools that are vital for building acoustics implementation to create virtual built-up environments and audio rendering techniques, real time convolution, filter design and building acoustics auralization plugin that make VR realistic as well as sounds realistic.
